Planting - A step in the right direction

This year NB tree services will plant at least one tree per day worked. Spending a lot of time working in woods, we are more aware than most of the importance of quality woodland management plans- which thankfully have to be present to obtain permission for felling operations.

ECOLOGY

Reducing carbon footprints and increasing biodiversity of woodland habitats

Ecology and the maintenance and improvement of our natural habitat is probably the most important thing in the world today.

Quality woodland management plans must be present to obtain permission for felling operations. We are experienced in:

  • Meeting strict criteria, we are contractors of choice and recognised as a genuinely caring company
  • Tree and wildlife surveys undertaken for environmentally sensitive site planning

Michael, Clutton

NB pitched into what seemed to me to be a daunting job involving the felling of several large trees with great energy and enthusiasm. Ned was also happy to take on a few other smaller jobs within the couple of days that we had agreed to in advance. We now have lots of neatly arranged logs and a much sunnier spot. Highly recommended.

NED SAYS:

Straightforward and well-grounded advice

As a student I was proud to receive an award from Cannington Agricultural and Horticultural College for being their top practical student. After graduation I was lucky enough to work for some well known, established tree care firms. These were mainly in the South West of England but I also worked for a year in Sydney, Australia. I have clocked up thousands of hours experience, often dealing with some of the larger more technical tree surgery / dismantling / felling work around. My skills and services have also expanded over the years to include carpentry and woodland management.

I like to offer straightforward well grounded advice that comes from a ‘hands on’ career in tree care, coupled with an in-depth understanding of tree biology. I hope this website gives you all the information that you need and hope that we can help you with your tree care needs.
